Springtime in Paris!

New patisserie: meet our Pastry ChefEnjoy an afternoon in Paris at our brand new French Patisserie!

You can choose to sit in for a taste of France, or take your treats away. On offer are a great variety of desserts, sandwiches, and ice creams, which are all made in-house by our own pastry chef, Anna.

Come in to try our macaroons, cupcakes, mini-desserts, and larger single serve desserts such as chocolate dome jaffa cake, lemon meringue pie, and chocolate mousse filled éclairs.

The star of the show (apart from the macaroons) is our pastry chef Anna.

Please give us an explanation of what you do:

I’m a pastry chef, preparing, making, and baking all desserts and pastries for the Café and Bistro at WestWaters Hotel.

What is your favourite item off the patisserie menu?

Opera slice: layers of sponge cake, ganache, and coffee buttercream.

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

I never wanted to work in hospitality and started off in hotel management, but then started to like the kitchen. That’s how I became a chef.

What are you most excited about in regards to the opening of the
new café?

To showcase an awesome variety of new desserts and to see
the look on people’s faces and their reactions when they see the choices and
can’t decide!
